Walk in Dartmoor
We woke up at 7.30 o’clock. First we had breakfast and made sandwiches with cheese, ham,
salad, butter and tomatoes. Then we had an English lesson about “How to tell the way”. We walked down to the town of Okehampton. There we did a town rally with different tasks, e.g. “How much is a postcard to Germany?”, “How many people live in Okehampton?” and we had to take pictures of letter boxes, English houses and a place where people can relax. After this we went on a walk through Dartmoor National Park. There were ponies and sheep and maybe pheasants. We walked through a forest. That was funny and difficult because it was very steep. We had a picnic on soft grass. In the youth hostel we made dinner and then listened to music, danced and took a shower.

Sands School II
Today we were at Sands School. There we painted the schoolyard with chalk. It was a little bit boring. Then we climbed on the climbing wall and talked to the English students. After that we went to Hound Tor in Dartmoor and climbed it up. It was very funny and a little bit dangerous. We visited an old village. We went back to the hostel and had free time. In the evening we read the Sherlock Holmes story “Hound of the Baskervilles”.
